Senior Healthcare Parts A & B
Senior Healthcare Quotes is an insurance plan for recipients who are 65+ years old. They are also available for people under 65 years who have disabilities, and those with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or transplant).
Original Senior Healthcare has part A and B. Part A is hospital insurance and helps cover inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care. Part B is medical insurance and helps cover certain doctors’ services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services.
To enroll in Original Senior Healthcare, call your local Senior Healthcare office or visit seniorhealthcare.gov.
Senior Healthcare Advantage, Senior Healthcare Prescription Drug Plans & MediGap
You can choose a Senior Healthcare Advantage plan. This is a type of Senior Healthcare health plan offered by a private company that contracts with Senior Healthcare to provide you with all your Part A and Part B benefits. Senior Healthcare Advantage Plans include Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), Private Fee-for-Service Plans, Special Needs Plans, and Senior Healthcare Medical Savings Account Plans. If you’re enrolled in a Senior Healthcare Advantage Plan, most Senior Healthcare services are covered through the plan and aren’t paid for under Original Senior Healthcare. Most Senior Healthcare Advantage Plans include prescription drug coverage.
You can also add a Senior Healthcare Prescription Drug Plan, also known as Part D, for prescription drug coverage to Original Senior Healthcare, some Senior Healthcare Cost Plans, some Senior Healthcare Private-Fee-for-Service Plans, and Senior Healthcare Medical Savings Account Plans. These plans are offered by insurance companies and other private companies approved by Senior Healthcare. Senior Healthcare Advantage Plans may also offer prescription drug coverage that follows the same rules as Senior Healthcare Prescription Drug Plans.
Finally, you may want to get Supplemental Senior Healthcare. Also called Medigap, this type of coverage helps pay some of the health care costs that Original Senior Healthcare doesn’t cover, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. You can choose to buy a Medigap policy from a private company to supplement Original Senior Healthcare (but you cannot use a Senior Healthcare Supplement plan alongside a Senior Healthcare Advantage plan).

Original Senior Healthcare might not be enough. It does not pay for routine vision, hearing, dental examinations, and most prescription drugs. In total, these other expenses can be quite substantial.
If so, consider enrolling in Senior Healthcare Advantage, Supplemental, and Prescription Drug Plans that might help you save on healthcare costs. There are various options from different insurance providers. More than that you need to read the fine print to fully understand your policy.
